• I'm a naturalized Minnesotan and enjoy love music and shade tree philosophy. I claim to like fishing but that's just an excuse to splash around in our abundant lakes, rivers and streams. I like the clear Minnesota skies and the aurora. I also like hot dish and Dad jokes. But more than anything, I enjoy goofing around and laughing with my wonderful wife, family and friends.

Living in northern Minnesota, I especially appreciate Subaru's Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive system, which performs exceptionally well during our long winters and on a variety of road conditions. One of the things that stands out most is the loyalty of Subaru owners. Customers consistently return to the brand because of the confidence they have in their vehicles. Beyond the vehicles themselves, Subaru is deeply involved in supporting local communities through initiatives such as pet adoption events, classroom sponsorships, and programs like Best Christmas Ever. Their commitment to making a positive impact is something I truly admire and am proud to represent.

Why are Subarus great vehicles in your experience?

• I have owned 3 Subarus and the Safety Features are one of the reasons I love them so much. I was able to walk away from 2 bad accidents because the Safety Features kicked in. I love the look of them as well. I have owned other vehicles of various brands, but my Subarus have always had the best reliability overall.

• I enjoy taking my dog to the dog park (you may even find my dog, Oakley, joining me at work sometimes), golfing, working on art and music, reading, and hanging out with friends.

• I joined the Miller Hill Subaru team in 2024, but my automotive journey began back in 2016 with a Subaru in the Twin Cities!

• When I'm not at the store, you can find me painting, reading, machining parts, or generally tinkering with projects. I love understanding how things work, which definitely helps my role as the Love-Encore/Technology Specialist.

• Through my years of working with Subaru customers, I've heard many stories about vehicle accidents, and I can confidently say that Subaru is among the safest vehicles on the road. Beyond safety, Subaru vehicles are also highly reliable when maintained; they can last well over 300,000 miles.

• During my free time at home, I enjoy relaxing and discovering new shows to binge-watch. Outside of work, I love traveling, photography, finding a new coffee shop, and spending time with family and friends. I have a diverse taste in music and often attend concerts or local live performances.
• My passion for the car scene is what led me to Subaru, and I enjoy attending car events throughout the summer. In October, I also work at the DECC for the Duluth Haunted Ship as a special effects makeup artist. Fun fact: this attraction and my makeup has been featured in local news, the Minnesota Star Tribune, and Forbes.

• Not a day goes by in the service drive that I don't hear a Subaru owner announce with a passion, "I LOVE MY SUBARU!". During our many months of snowy conditions, Subaru owners are confident they are driving the perfect vehicle to get them to their destination. The number of Subarus on our roads here speak volumes to how great they really are!

• When I'm not at work, being an animal lover, I really enjoy the company of my orange female rescue kitty, Savvy, and my recent rescue dog, Cyrus, a sweet 90lb shepherd/chow mix. I also love flower gardening and find spending time in the outdoors (Ely being a favorite destination) soothing to my soul! Being creative in decorating, my fun pastime is scouring antique and vintage shops for items I can repurpose. Trying new recipes and cooking for family is always a joy.

• Having AWD in Minnesota is extremely helpful. This, combined with Subaru's awesome safety ratings, means you can feel safe and comfortable driving in our unpredictable winter weather. Also, they look cool.

• In my free time, I like to hang out with my husband, my cat, and my newt. We watch horror movies and read a whole lot of books. Outside of home I play tuba in a polka-punk band, co-produce a paranormal podcast, organize events with the Twin Ports Horror Society, and act as MC for multiple performance groups in the Twin Ports.

During the winter months, I enjoy supporting local UMD hockey and cheering on the Minnesota Wild.
